Pattern spotlight: Old Orchard Cardigan by Kristen TenDyke from MAINE knits
When pondering what important things would be in a book of knitting patterns inspired by Maine, two of the things on my list were cables and Swan's Island. Kristen's sweater filled a niche here with a simple, classic cabled design in a totally yummy yarn. I instantly knew this piece was on my knit list, and in gray, it would be a wardrobe staple. Simply put, it's the perfect everyday sweater.
